Round 1 - 5th XI

It was a challenging Saturday overall, with the club managing just one win from five matches.

🏏 4th XI
The 4th XI secured a comfortable victory over Curtin Victoria Park, successfully chasing down 105 with ease. Strong contributions from Andy Grant (43) and Fawad Mahmood (25no), alongside solid bowling performances from Milan Krebl (2/16), Tyson Tennent (2/18), and Fawad Mahmood (2/19), ensured a second straight win to kick off the season.

🏏 1st XI
The 1st XI fell well short in their chase of 215 against Murdoch University Melville, despite a promising 97-run second-wicket partnership between Alex Galipo (68) and Jackson Chadd (38). With the ball, Adam Copley starred, claiming 5/33 including a last-over hat-trick. Sean O’Callaghan (2/39) and Jackson Chadd (2/54) also chipped in.

🏏 2nd XI
Despite posting a competitive 6/160, the 2nd XI couldn’t hold off their opponents. Key contributions with the bat came from Jesse Doney (48), Brayden Cosson (38no), and Leon Armenti (30), while Johnny Budalich (2/33) was the pick of the bowlers.

🏏 3rd XI
The 3rd XI also faced a defeat, unable to defend a good total of 8/181. With the bat, efforts from Damian Lepidi (48), Jatin Jagtap (42), Jacob Paolino (32), and Josh Armitt (22no) helped set a solid total. Jagtap also performed with the ball, taking 2/27.
